Cookies and privacy choices
What is stored on your device, why it is necessary and how optional choices are controlled.
Strictly necessary storage is used for the selected language, privacy choices, security and authorised administrator sessions. It operates without consent where it is essential to provide the requested service.
Optional analytics and external-media categories are disabled by default. They may operate only after an affirmative choice. Rejecting optional processing is as easy as accepting it, and no optional category is pre-selected.
The privacy-settings control in the footer allows choices to be reviewed, changed or withdrawn at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Current first-party preference records: obsidian_locale stores the chosen language for up to 12 months; obsidian_consent stores privacy choices and their policy version for up to six months. Authorised administration may use essential authentication storage governed by the identity service.
The site does not currently activate advertising or behavioural-profiling cookies. Optional services added later must be registered in this notice and technically blocked until the relevant permission exists.
