AgriTwin reached a key interoperability milestone by advancing the integration of OpenAgri reusable open-source services into the Agricultural Digital Solution (ADS). This work strengthens the project’s ability to combine on-farm sensing with external information streams and transform them into actionable decision support within the Environmental Digital Twin.
The integration covers core service categories relevant to farm operations, including weather-based indicators, irrigation-related inputs, and pest and disease risk services, alongside secure access mechanisms. Where comparable tools already exist at national or regional level, the OpenAgri services are still integrated and will be demonstrated within AgriTwin to validate reuse, interoperability, and replicability.
